Social media archiving is a young business—Arkovi roots date back to just January 2009 and we’re the first! Having grown up in financial services and as optimistic as we are about the industry’s future in communicating via social media, we’ll admit to having a perspective. We welcome media invitations to share that perspective and, of course, we’re always grateful for product coverage.

  • Targeting Facebook Postings, September 4, 2012.  Targeting Facebook Postings – one of the many little secrets that can help you better engage your fans & followers –a great article written by Arkovi’s Caitlin Zucal & featured in FPA’s Practice Management Solutions magazine.
  • Social Media Compliance Isn’t Fun, but It’s Necessary, August 23, 2012.  Mentioned in the Harvard Business Review, Arkovi is listed as one of the archiving leaders whose products enable searching stored communications by keywords, date, and other variables across different social networks.
  • So You’re on Facebook; Now What?, June 15, 2012.  As he explores different uses for the social media platform, Janowski mentions Professor Michael Finke of the Department of Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University, along with his co-author, graduate assistant Tao Guo, have been analyzing a one-million-tweet data set provided to them by Arkovi.
  • Five Ways to Exploit Social Media, June 15, 2012.  Davis Janowski of Investment News recommends that  broker-dealers and RIAs utilize archiving and social-media management tools that have analytic components, such as Arkovi.
  • Are Advisors Ready to Embrace Social Media?, June 15, 2012.  While at the TD Ameritrade Institutional 2012 Elite Summit,  Arkovi’s Blane Warrene and D. Bruce Johnston explain how advisors are “getting over their fear of flying” when it comes to social media.
  • Topic: Arkovi Stats, May 16, 2012.  A sneak peak of the new infographic by Arkovi.  The infographic shows true social media usage statistics, not what respondents choose to answer in surveys, making the information even more accurate and valuable.
  • Social Media is Evolving By the Day, May 6, 2012.  Arkovi CEO, Blane Warrene, is quoted in this Investment News article discusses Facebook Timeline and how it affects RIAs. 
  • New Study Follows Kids on Social, May 5, 2012.  Arkovi’s participation in the University of Texas at Dallas research study provides archiving for participant communications on Facebook, Twitter and other channels that millenials are using currently.  
  • Arkovi to Provide Facebook Info for Uni’s Millenials Study, April 23, 2012.  The University of Texas at Dallas’ research is designed to examine and understand how children make and keep friends. For the past four years researchers, led by Dr. Marion Underwood, have been collecting, archiving and analyzing text messages, instant messages and email communications. This will continue but will be expanded to include coverage for Facebook, Twitter and other social and web channels using Arkovi.
  • Expanded Study will Track Adolescent Behavior on Facebook, April 23, 2012.  Dr. Marion Underwood of The University of Texas at Dallas leads research that will capture and code the content of adolescent activity on Facebook, the most popular social networking website.  Facebook communication will be captured from all devices used and will be stored by Arkovi.
  • UTD to Study Teen Behavior on Facebook, April 18, 2012.  An expanded study at the UT Dallas aims to shed some light on whether or not social media is healthy for children.  UT Dallas is partnering with Arkovi, who will be capturing the social media data for the study.  
  • 3 Reasons to Love Facebook Timeline for Business, March 26, 2012.  Arkovi Marketing Coordinator, Caitlin Zucal, is featured in FPA’s Practice Management Center blog.  Zucal’s article touches on Facebook’s Timeline redesign and how new features provide exciting online branding opportunities for businesses.
  • Make It a Worthwhile Experience — Marketing Your Brand on Pinterest, March 20,2012.  Arkovi Marketing Coordinator, Caitlin Zucal, is featured in Investment Writing’s blog.  Zucal discusses why financial marketers should think of Pinterest as “Facebook without words” or another way to share their products, personality, and common interests with clients and prospects.
  • 60 Seconds:  Steve Crothers, January 1, 2012.  In this Registered Rep article, Arkovi customer and financial advisor, Steve Crothers, discusses his firm’s successful use of social media.
  • Maximize Your Technology Spending in 2012, January 2012.  Technology consultant Bill Winterberg recommends Arkovi for financial advisors thinking about including social media in their firm’s marketing plan, but also want to get the most out of their budget.
  • Advisor Tested: Arkovi Expands and Archives a Firm’s Online Footprint, November 11, 2011.  Arkovi is featured in this RIABiz article as an archiving solution that caters to investment advisors as one of its target audiences.  Also included in the piece is an interview with Russell Thornton of Wealthcare Capital Management in Atlanta, who has found much success using Arkovi.

  • Mastering Social Media, August 2011.  Arkovi is mentioned for rolling out new and improved technology solutions to help advisors stay compliant as they tweet, blog and connect.
  • Tweet Away, July, 1, 2011.  Arkovi is cited as the social media archiving tool used by Matson Money.
