Good, fundamental advice on basic rules of thumb for integrating social media into your marketing efforts. In particular, we like Rule 8, and have worked to incorporate a personal presence across our social media accounts. This does not mean you cannot ping accounts when you blog or post on YouTube – this is more about making sure your content is not carbon copied everywhere all the time from a single entry. Use some nuance – take advantage of the differing mediums to present an idea in multiple formats – i.e. podcast, blog post, YouTube video et al.
